Every Friday here at Mezzamind HQ , we have what is called "Music Friday". we encourage open invitation to musicians from all diffrent fields. Producers,sonwriters, Instrumentalist such as sax players, guitar players , bass players, drummers and Promoters as well. The idea of this day is to bring forth a group of musicians under one roof to exchange ideas and mesh diffrent styles of music. Having fun is the key to great music. On Febuary 19th 2016 we had San Diego's own Sol Omen drop by to display a bit of what he is capable of as an MC.

Sol-Omen

Sol-Omen has been consistently killing tracks over the past several decades. While

others have strayed away from the raw experimental sound of 90s hip hop, Sol pushed

forward and built his edifice upon that solid foundation of originality and passion for the

artform. Throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, he made strides as both a lyricist and

producer, releasing multiple solo and collaborative projects. More recently, Sol has been

hammering the hip hop scene with consistent releases, such as his 2014 self-produced

album, Subconscious Hip Hop, which included the hit song Shallow Water, featuring

Self-Jupiter of the legendary Freestyle Fellowship. Sol-Omen frequently tours

throughout the west coast and American Southwest spreading his message of social

consciousness, true hip hop and the upliftment of Native American peoples.
